Is there a special diet that you follow during summers?
There's no special diet that I follow during summer. But I do make it a point to have lots of fluids. I drink fruit juice, nimbu pani and water.
When it comes to eating, I prefer cold vegetables, salad and fruits. Generally I plan a diet that is filling as well as light as it helps you to stay fit and active throughout the day.
What particular fitness regime do you follow during summers?
Just like my diet, I follow a light fitness programme. In summers one tends to sweat a lot so I avoid doing strenuous exercises. I do a little bit of stretching and jogging, as they are good warm up exercises.
Are there any grandma's tips that you use to get rid of the tan?
I don't mind having a tan. I guess getting a tan is becoming a trend nowadays and people want to flaunt it. What are summers for, otherwise? You can only dream of getting tanned in this season so why should you avoid getting one in the first place.
What kind of make-up should one use in summers?
I think if one wants to wear make-up then it's best to use a light compact followed by some blush, mascara and light lipstick. One should avoid heavy make-up.
How can one look stunning and stylish in this season?
I prefer wearing colours like lime green, lemon yellow and white. I avoid wearing pink as it's not 'in'. Materials such as cotton, linen and khadi are perfect for this season.
If I have to go out for a party then I would wear white cut-off pants and team it up with a crisp white shirt along with a necklace. In summers, your accessories should be funky. The best part is that one can flaunt toe rings and anklets as your legs get noticed a lot.

SONALIKA SAHAY - Indian Super Model
SONALIKA SAHAY has the kind of legs that ask to be accessorised with a Rolls Royce and a saxophone to provide the necessary ambient sound. The 5"10" model who set the ramp on fire at the Lakme India Fashion Week has come a long way from her hometown of Hazaribagh in Bihar to being the Sensational Face of Christian Dior. Especially when you consider the face of Dior is none other than Ms Naughty Eyes, Yana Gupta.
"There was a contest during the Fashion Week and Dior was looking for a new face," Sonalika says. "I fitted the criteria and so here I am! I have a two-year contract with Dior and I am really looking forward to the association." Sonalika who has tried her hand at quite a few things including Hotel Management and MBA does not wish to comment on whether she would follow her model peers to the silver screen.
Designer of choice for Sonalika is "Dior (naturally!) The clothes are a wonderful mix of feminine grace and power. I dress to reflect my mood. Having said that, I would describe my style as leaning towards casual."

Looking at Sonalika demurely seated, the very picture of grace, one cannot picture her involved with anything rough and ready. She however insists she is a tomboy and loves water sports. "I enjoy canoeing and working out in the gym. And I also love to read. The last book I read was Gone With the Wind. For some odd reason I had never read the book. My all-time favourite author is P.G. Wodehouse."
A vegetarian by choice as she cannot bear "the animosity to animals," Sonalika admits the leather question to be "a sensitive one. I guess one should be minimalist. There should not be outright cruelty. I suppose there are no easy answers."
Commenting on the tragedy of model and VJ Nafisa Joseph's suicide, Sonalika said, "I was shocked and deeply saddened when I heard the news." Sonalika feels that anyone wishing to become a model "should give it a try. However, one should be prepared as it is a high stress job and takes a lot out of you. It is a full time job and not all about just looking pretty."
Sonalika seems to have struck the golden mean of looking pretty and having fun doing it!

Kim Sharma who acted in Kadgam and Shamita Shetty , Shilpa Shetty’s sister had gone toa night club together. They both had booze together but go knows next what transpired between them, they both started fighting, pulling each other’s hair.
In the melee they tore each other’s shirts too and the mob gathered around and captured the rare photos in the mobile cameras. While the heroines rubbish the fact, the mobile photos speak other story.

Ram Gopal Varma's forthcoming film DARLING stars Fardeen Khan, Ishaa Koppikar and Esha Deol. Going by the title, one can least expect it to be a horror film. But then what can one expect from a maverick director like him. Besides Varma and bubblegum romance? Seems as diverse as chalk and cheese!
Apparently Esha Deol plays a ghost in the film. It may be recalled that even Koppikar played a ghost in KRISHNA COTTAGE earlier. Likewise Fardeen and Deol have had their brush with horror/thriller flicks namely BHOOT and KAAL respectively.
