Celeb diet with Candice Pinto
When I travel, I eat as and when; there is no proper fixed time. I mostly gorge on desserts, says model Candice Pinto.

Breakfast: In the morning, I have two eggs and digestive biscuits which is a must! After I come back from the gym, I have a protein shake accompanied by a sandwich.
Lunch: I have either an egg roll or maybe a paneer or veg. roll. Plus, another protein shake.
Mid meals: When I travel, I eat as and when; there is no proper fixed time. I mostly gorge on desserts.
Allergic to: I love sea food but regrettably I can’t have it.
Dinner: I have a complete meal with rice, vegetables and fish. I avoid red meat and have recently put a stop to chicken.
Work out: I feel exercise is very important. I work out at least for an hour which is generally with cardio and weights.

She really needs to improve her diet as QUICK as possible. Her diet is too high in protein. Excess protein can damage the kidney by increasing blood pressure and leaching calcium from the body. There are absolutely no fruits in her diet which are a main source of anti-oxidants which protects our body against diseases. Her gorging on chocolates indicates there is probably a deficiency of vitamins and minerals.
BREAKFAST: Her breakfast before she goes to the gym could be two bananas. After working out, she could have two whole wheat bread sandwich (filled with veggies) and two egg whites which will be a balance of protein and carbohydrates. It is best to get protein from natural sources. Protein shakes are not advisable, as they are not natural.
LUNCH: Her lunch could be accompanied with salads and vegetables which are rich in fibre, minerals, vitamin and anti-oxidants. Either paneer or dal is advisable as one source of protein is more than enough.
MID EVENINGS: It would be great to have dry fruits, nuts and fruits. They are a good source of vitamins, minerals and proteins.
DINNER: Her dinner is fine. If she is eating white rice, she can also switch to brown rice.

Making news in the modelling scene is Tinu Verghese, winning the much coveted fashion television award for the World's Best Ramp Model in Monte Carlo. Tinu along with Ujwala Raut has been working with the top names in the fashion industry in Europe. She is extremely versatile and professional. After starting a model's union, walking the ramp in Milan and Paris for international fashion houses like Christian Lacroix, Gucci and DKNY, the Kerala-born model now conquers the Fashion TV Models Awards. Tinu was selected from India to compete with models from all over the world in the Fashion TV Models Awards in Nice. The contest was held on October 10, 2003 and Tinu shared the stage with some of the most beautiful models from different parts of the world. The first fashion show she did was in Bangalore for Rs 250. Tinu soon moved to Denmark to be with her Danish boyfriend. There she was recruited by a Copenhagen agency and work started flowing in. Tinu has also worked with Christian Dior, Prada, Escada, Christian Lacroix and Alexander McQueen.
