Katina Kaif & Lisa Ray - both half indian & half of foreign origins have both made a decent mark in bollywood. Katrina Kaif - born from british mother and an indian kashmiri father has been the more sucessfull of them till now atleast in bollywood. Lisa Ray born of a Polish mother and a Bengali father came saw & conquered the modelling world, perhaps didnt get a footing in bollywood me thinks mainly because she jumped in a little late. Perhaps she realised it too & perhaps all the movies that came her way where from mahesh bhat or skin flicks which are one & the same.
She has shifted her base to New York now. Her Deepa Mehta movie "water" is apparently doing very well in the festival circuit & she has been well appreciated in it.
