Apparently fashion guru prasad bidappa had called up irfan pathan to do some modelling for him, this was back when he hadnt yet broken into the indian team, irfan declined saying he wanted to concentrate on cricket. This very much shows the charachter of the man, he was determined to play cricket & not go the easy way into modelling, the rest as they say is history.
