SANIA Mirza, Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul Haq and Viswanathan Anand will be honoured as the International Sports Personality of the Year 2005, an award instituted by Sony Entertainment Television.
In an year gloomy cricketing year , sania mirza carried the nations aspirations for a name in sports, this year saw her rise as also a brand amabasaddor to various brands & the highest endorsement deals in the country second only to sachin tendulkar.
She has also broken into the top 50 in tennis rankings & is now ranked 32nd in the world.
