Haryanvi Himani Kapoor was a finalist at the saregamapa competition 2005. She was one of the favourites to win that year actually. She nowadays hosts antakshari on zee along with karan oberoi. She does seem to have a decent fanbase , has an official fansite for anyone who'd like to see

Kareena & Diya Sizzle @ Chak De Yaara

Saharashri Subroto Roy can absolutely do anyhing , Chak De Yaaraa was an event where the Indian & Pakistani cricketers got together along with ShahRukh Khan. Quite a few Indian cricketers got on the stage and danced their way through , most prominent being sreesanth who seemed a pro. None of the pakistani cricketers got on the stage & naturally as most of them seemed to have a stick stuck on their rear , taufiq umar , younis khan sat like zombies throughout the show. Their captain shoaib malik was tongue tied when he was asked a question & the ever witty sajid khan slipped in a please answer politically correct manner to him which probably made him a little nervous as did face a lot of flak because of his post match interview after the T20 finals. Among the pakistani cricketers Afridi looked a little at ease & ofcourse Shoaib Akhtar who shouldve been called up on the stage, the guy was on jhoom india recently & sang his way through the show. He is probably the only 'star' in the pakistani team today.
Kareena sizzled as always & diya looked ethereally beautiful as ever & the cricketers couldnt take their eyes of them like yours truly.

Shreya Ghoshal - Amul Star Voice of India Chhote Ustaad

Easily one of the most talented singers of our generation, Shreya also is quite easy on the eyes. If there is any reason for me to tune into Amul Star Voice of India Chhote Ustaad it is Shreya Ghoshal , word of caution here for all the shreya fans who will tune in to the show ... have to bear the verbal diarrhea of Kunal Ganjaawala , the guy simply doesnt stop , one doesnt need to wonder more why he is "ganjaawalaa".
Shreya as good as she sings & looks does seem very humble a person and is always very sweet with the kids & her co-judges.

Amrita Rao in SaReGaMaPa

Amrita was on Saregamapa recently & looking pretty as always. This was for promotion of her new movie "My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves" , movie also stars mithun chakravarty & newcomer Nikhil Dwivedi who made appearance on the show as well..
The movie hasnt been promoted really well , somehow i never get the promotional strategies , all they show is a song or two for promotion and naturally if the song doesnt catch on no one goes for the movie specially if it doesnt have any stars.
Even Dus Kahaniya which had a few really good stories failed at the BO because all they kept on showing was the songs. E Niwas has directed "My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves" & has gone downhill from where he started, his debut movie shool was spectacular in every way and e niwas was set to be the next big director , His next "love ke liye kuch bhi karega" was genuinely funny , then came dum which looked like a bad copy of a bad movie called ghaath , with Bardaasht ..e niwas fell even below. Wonder if he reedems himself with this movie or be a one movie wonder.
Amrita seems to have bolded up a litle after her stint in the south with Athidhi, she was looking lovely here as you can see.

Sophie Chaudhary - Oh Shes a Firecracker Aint She

MTV Roadies specials is being hosted by sophie and my what a firecracker she looks each & every time. Easily sophie is the best & hottest dressed on telly today , even beats mandira in my book nowadays.

She is really quite the pistol , dont see her much though on the big screen like we want her to be.

Dimple Inamdar Pics

This gladrags model has worked in a lot of telly shows & is quite a regular feature on the page3. However she really hit the headlines a few years back when she was linked with bollywood actor vivek oberoi. Dimple is again someone who is very naturally loved by the camera. She does have a few bollywood movie cameos under her belt, also did a movie as a lead "Dial 100" which no one say and whoever saw it dialled 100 to have the cast & crew arrested for making such thrash.

Neha Marda & Sakshi Talwar - Ek Thi Rajkumari

Another thoroughly unimpressive & regressive tv show. I really wonder who writes & directs such first rate bull, what kind of a education and childhood would they have suffered to make such a piece of thrash. For starters a princess should look like a princess , neha marda is just one alphabet more than being a mard , that actually says a lot for her. The lives of royal families are glamorous , what people would like to see on the screen in a more dramatized manner , while this has a princess which is locked away from the world and dresses like an ayah. The only good thing about the show is Sakshi Talwar , who wasnt even in the press releases nor gets a proper billing in the show. I had seen her in a few stray shows here there particularly Remix & she did look like a natural infront of the camera & the camera seems to love her as well.

Neeru Bajwa - Indian TV Actress

Neeru was one of the stars of first Nach Baliye , as pretty as they come , Neeru did work a lot on Telly & that too she had a certain standard , never did any of those run of a mill shows saas bahu dramas etc. She was also the best thing in the show jassi in a long long time. Guns N Roses was probably where neeru was at her best , they should really go in for another season of the show. She did a few movies in punjabi , also a few music videos no & then but overall neeru hasnt quite lived up to her talent & ample talents she possesses. I belive she got married to her livein partner Amit Sadh (who had his 2 minutes of fame in Big Brothers Indian version Bigg Boss)

Sonali Verma

Sonali started off as a newsreader on ndtv hindi & starnews a few years back , she moved on to entertainment anchoring and did appear in a lot of such shows , was also breifly with cnbc awaaz in a show called 'Glamour Bazaar' which seems to have been taken off air for reasons best known to them. Suprisingly sonali moved to television acting in a lot of tv shows and for quite some time now, she seems to be off the page3 parties & i have never seen her interviews on tv perhaps thats why she hasnt really become a household name just yes, but one thing for sure there are many fans of sonali verma around , more than actually one can imagine. Hope to see and add more of her in the coming days.

Helen - The Original Item Girl

For two decades Helen was not only the most sought after 'item girl' but also the premier when it came to playing vampish roles. Her westernized dressing & gorgeous looks made her a crowd pleaser like no other. A 'helen song' was considered quite a treat in a movie and never did once helen look vulgar , she was always her dignified self even in edgy cabaret numbers. And she looked stunning for quite a long period of time and very much in a very modern sense rather than the usual 'wideness' that was associated with most leading actresses of that era.

The 'item girl' phenomenon has really caught on of late and the competition is simply who can be the most vulgar & skimpily dressed. Dance also has taken a backseat & veers more towards tiltilation rather than anything else.

Amazing Akriti Kakkar

Jhoom India is actually turning out to be a well contested & interesting show. Currently the singing contests have taken a turn for the kids which makes for not just boring but also to a large extent unmelodious viewing. A better idea would be to go for a genre probably classical or ..even better would be item songs , would really boost the trp's for that channel. Comming back to Jhoom India .. akriti is one of the most melodious young voices i have heard in a long time, hope she wins the contest
