Bhumika started off with a few obscure punjabi music videos & seems like destined to go down like the hundreds that do it , however she struck gold down south , mainly due to those 'homely' looks that work really well down south. Bollywood was next on the list , and she got appreciated for whatever she did. She has a small albeit a very important role to play in 'gandhi my father' and has done complete justice to the role. She has actually started bagging main leads with top heroes (opposite ajay devgan in benam) , looks like her south career is out for the moment.
