Mandira Bedi's Controversial Saree With The Indian Flag On It

Rest of the Caps Here

Last day of extra innings and we sure expected mandira to do something special, the saree was special indeed with flags of all the participating nations, but the news channels wanted to stir up a controversy as always and they took objection on the india flag on the saree. India is really has case of misplaced patriotism everywhere, there will be farmer suicides in vidharbha, there will be corrupt ministers kabootaring people of the country , there may be rampant poverty, corruption, unemployment all over , and the news channels dedicate special programmes to MANDIRA BEDI'S SAREE.

Official regulation states that the flag must never touch the ground or water, be used as a tablecloth or draped in front of a platform, cover a statue, plaque, cornerstone etc. Until 2005, the flag could not be used in clothing, uniform or costume. On 5 July 2005, the Government of India amended the code, allowing use of the flag as clothing and uniform. It however cannot be used as clothing below the waist or as undergarments.[12] It is also prohibited to embroider the national flag and other symbols onto pillowcases or neckerchiefs.[13]
