Aamna Shariff can well be one of the most popular tv actresses of all times & not just in india but in neighbouring pakistan as well where she is no less a celebrity. Infact so much so that the pakistani's passed off rumours of aamna being of their own stock by passing her off as daughter of an pakistani actress babra shariff. The hype didnt workout in her favour , the dreams of silver screen have been nipped in the bud (and not that she didnt try, she does have a film down south which she wont be much proud of). Nowdays except reruns of Kahin tu Hoga , aamna has virtually disappeared off screen.
