Supermodel Jesse Randhawa says she'll happily be an item girl. In fact, whether she's modelling or acting, it's all about doing it on her own terms.

Item girl in Anurag Kashyap's No Smoking... It's not an item number. I'm covered from top to bottom. You have to see it to know what it is. And I'm not afraid of being tagged an item girl. I choose what I do and have no regrets.

Other movies... I'm playing the role of a lecturer in Gulal which will be releasing soon. In my other film, Love Games, I'm playing a model alongside Randeep Hooda. I'm not doing any international films at present, but I was offered a lead role before by a Pakistani director.

But it didn't work out. I'm open to good offers so I'd definitely like to work in international movies, too.

Wardrobe malfunctions... It's a highly exaggerated topic. It can happen to anyone. Every model faces these situations at one time or the other. And no one is to be blamed for it. Our media just picks on one thing and keeps dragging it. It's blown way out of proportion.

Living and working abroad as a supermodel... I've done that in the past. But I love being in India. My family and friends are here. Things become much easier. But I do several international projects. And working abroad is an entirely different experience.

The Anand Jon case and working closely with male designers... A designer's job is to give us the clothes; not make us wear them.We only co-ordinate with them on a professional level. And whether you're a model or not, one has to draw the line when interacting with anybody.

Women are intuitive, they can recognise a man's touch. You can always not work with the designer if you feel uncomfortable with him. Short hair... In the beginning most designers would not take me. But later they saw my work and realised I was good even with short hair. I rarely put on a wig for shows. I have western features and people have accepted me with it.

Maintaining a size zero figure... is all about being fit. If you eat sensibly and exercise properly you will be fit. And no, Indian models don't endorse anorexia; that's another overrated topic.We all have good appetites.

Books... I'm a bookworm and I have a collection that's virtually a library. I read a lot of philosophy. At present I'm reading Roots by Alex Haley. The teachings of Osho... Osho's teachings appeal to me. they are like talking to a friend. I've not gone to his ashram but I have made chakkars outside the place.

Relationships... I don't want to talk about my previous marriage (with model Inder Mohan). It happened some years ago. And I'm still with Sandip (Soparrkar). I don't know why there are rumours about us splitting up. I don't want to comment on my personal life. And I don't intent to marry anytime soon.
