She has won awards and accolades all over but all it all it seems she has been wasted really , her acting prowess are second to none , and she would play the perfect example of a normal girl roles and not a glam doll like most half-talented heroines are. Kulkarni won the best actress award at the recent Milan Film Festival for the Italian-language movie "Fuoco Su Di Me," or "Fire On Me." It took eight weeks of coaching for Kulkarni to learn enough Italian, since she didn't want to merely mouth the dialogue in the producer Sergio Scapagnini's love story. Kulkarni was spotted by Scapagnini more than 10 years ago when her first film, "Cheluvi," or "Flowering Tree," was shown at the Cannes Film Festival.
