Third generation actress , raima sen reminds me very much of her grand mother suchitra sen they way she looks , raima surely has a classical touch with her. While my favourite among the sen clan has always been Moonmoon Sen who was absolutely sensational in the late 80's & early 90's in whatever little ive seen of her. It was nothing but bad luck that she couldnt be a Alister back in bollywood then. The raw sensuality of moonmoon sen has somewhat been genetically passed on to her daughters raima & riya sen.

Bengali Beauty Raima Sen

Out of all the sen babes, raima is one who has been neglected much by the bollywood fraternity in terms of roles offered to her. Raima fits more into the classical bengali beauty mode than either of the sen's. Infact she reminds me much of her grandma yesteryear actress Suchitra Sen, mainly because of her alluring mysterious eyes & she looked the hottest even as a plain jane in a saree in Honeymoon Travels.

The Sensational sen trio Munmun & her daughters riya & raima sen. There are always talks on casting film families together, the deols have done it , the bacchans have done it too, the kapoors have done it more frequently (barring the kareena karishma kapoor sisters) , however we have never heard of anyone casting riya raima togehter along with their mom , me thinks among the current sister actress lots - shilpa shamita shetty , malaika - amrita arora , the sen sister are really the ones which have the maxium oomph factor , the sultry sensual raima sen who can well fit into the classical actress look & the downright sexy riya sen , these bongs bombshell sisters will surely look great on screen together , with their eternally charming & highly underrated actress mother munmun sen.

Raima Sen is one actress who has worked her way up the industry very well. She seems aware of her strenghts & weaknesses , and has chosen her roles really well ..one thing which one cant quite say about her sister riya sen.
Last seen in honeymoon travels , raima was appreciated for her part in the movie.
She is slated to be in a couple of intresting movies , out of which Meridian does catch my attention, its written by Anurag Kashyap of black friday fame , so it will catch the cinegoer's eye. As raima puts it “My next commercial release is Meridian where I will be opposite Arjun Rampal. It’s an interesting concept about the past and present and the star cast is huge.”
Other movies include Aparna Sen's Japanese Wife & Manorama Six Feet Under , both of which seem pretty intresting.
