Following the dethronement of Danielle Llyod , preeti desai who has originally finished 5th in the contest won it via a public poll & was crowned the first indian woman to be made Miss Great Britain 2006. Younger sis anjlee desai too tried out for Miss Great Britain in 2007, unfortunately she couldnt make it to the crown. Its surprising none of these desi girls try out for bollywood, in the last few years quite a few countires have have paegent winners of indian origins.
