Mandira Bedi @ IPL 2009 - Anyone else feeling letdown by Mandira Bedi ?

Firstly the short haircut just doesnt work on her , and she has departed from her gorgeous sarees & exotic blouses. Die hard mandira fans might disagree but she has started showing signs of ageing quite fast.

Call me crazy but mandy isnt looking quite the same .. even at the last world cup appearance of mandira for which quite a few of us were expecting to be like last time were sorely disappointed , Has she lost the charm ? no Is she ageing quickly ? perhaps but more importantly what made mandira famous back then , it sure wasnt her wit but her dressing , specifically those spaghetti straps / noodle strap blouses which she made famous , nowadays mandira is more or less covered up and never in her tradermark dresses which leaves a lot of us mandira fans really disappointed.

Doesnt work for me at all , not that she aint friggin hot in this one too , i mean commeon she is mandira bedi after all. But somehow this red streaks doesnt work for me , she is probably added this as she feels she is getting a little old perhaps & the pyts are going to take her place as the prime tv host , but really mandira off with the red.

Last day of extra innings and we sure expected mandira to do something special, the saree was special indeed with flags of all the participating nations, but the news channels wanted to stir up a controversy as always and they took objection on the india flag on the saree. India is really has case of misplaced patriotism everywhere, there will be farmer suicides in vidharbha, there will be corrupt ministers kabootaring people of the country , there may be rampant poverty, corruption, unemployment all over , and the news channels dedicate special programmes to MANDIRA BEDI'S SAREE.

Sri Lanka Won the match pretty comfortably, they just had the right team for the wicket. Slow, crumbling and turning wickets are like tailormade for the lankan slow bolwing attack. Ofcourse murali is their keybowler , but on such a wicket its not easy to score runs against even dilshan and jayasuriya. The aussies will surely know that.. that is if they make it against the proteas today ;) Personally i think this is the weakest australian side ive seen in quite some time now , but they are just rolling down other sides which is quite surprising. The south africans sure are evenly matched with them , and both of them lack a quality spinner at that for such wickets.
