Fun to be with, a good listener and compassionate, Shonal is a content young woman at heart. Satisfied with what she has achieved so far and yet hoping to include more success in life, she is confident that as a finalist in the Sunsilk Femina Miss India, she will be able to learn and imbibe new things, new people and above all, overcome some of her fears.


Swimming, reading, dancing, collecting coins and idols of Ganesha are some of Shonal's interests.


"Beauty may lie in the beholder's eye, but internally, it's your soul shinning through your negative side. Pure innocence... that's what beauty is to me," says Shonal.
Besides ramp shows, Shonal has done Ad commercials for Shalimar, Nescafe, Archidply Councillor and Global Institute of Fashion Technology. This versatile and talented girl has also launched her own event management firm.
Her parents mean a lot to her. She draws inspiration from her mother who she believes has played a pivotal role in shaping the person that she is today. Even though her happiest moment was receiving her first pay packet, her true happiness lies in making her parents smile.
