Aishwarya does look best in sarees
"The family had bought 11 sarees worth Rs 50,000 during their last visit to the city. Aishwarya was also with them," Jalan said. While the 21 sarees will be sent to Lucknow immediately, the Banarasi lehenga, which Ash is likely to wear on the wedding day, would be ready by this month-end, he added.
"The lehenga would be crafted by a master weaver of the city, famous for signature Banarasi sarees and it would Banarasi zardozi work and Kolkatan-Jaipuri embroidery on a silken base", said Jalan. Though he refused to disclose the price of the wedding lehenga, sources said it may cost more than Rs 2 lakh.
